Mary Wallace Theatre

26 June 2021 - 03 July 2021

SAVE THE DATE! On June 26th live theatre returns to Twickenham's Mary Wallace Theatre with the UK premiere of Arlita Jones' acclaimed thriller, SUMMERLAND. This intriguing play takes as its starting point the true story of William Mumner, a photographer in nineteenth century New York. Mumner is no ordinary photographer and when he is visited by a man who hopes to be reunited with his dead wife, he is all too eager to oblige. Even if only in a photograph.

Quartermaine's Terms

Mary Wallace Theatre

17 July 2021 - 24 July 2021

Richmond Shakespeare Society is presenting its production of Simon Gray’s classic comedy, QUARTERMAINE’s TERMS in July. Regarded as his finest work and much admired by Harold Pinter, the play follows several years in the lives of the teaching staff  of a Cambridge language school in the 1960’s. The author takes the “lives of quiet desperation” of his seven characters and presents them in turn as vulnerable, funny, inadequate and tragic. QUARTERMAINE’s TERMS is hoped to be our second step out of the current drama desert and another opportunity to welcome back our loyal audiences to the Mary Wallace Theatre.
