Even When We're Right, We're Wrong by Daniel Caleb

I'm kneeling down
Still collecting the debris of my broken heart.
There's a piece too small to see
But I lay no blame on anyone
Not you, not me –
For there's no time for us to waste away in grief.
Now, try to slip away from any sense of shame.
Sometimes it's just the way things go,
Sometimes things go to waste.
But we can plant a seed,
And watch it grow out of the dark.
When the autumn leaves have gone away
But left their mark
It takes some time for us to see it in its fullest light
When the perspective floats away, we need it to return,
To create the right terrain for you and me to learn.
Let's hope it won't be long,
Because even when we're right, we're wrong.
