Langdon Down Centre
Forthcoming events - Langdon Down Centre>

Normansfield Theatre, is a grade II* listed building with a purpose built Theatre/entertainment hall and is a rare example of a private Victorian Theatre containing original painted scenery and other ornate fixtures and fittings. It also contains a variety of different sized rooms. As well as the Theatre there is a large conference/meeting room, two smaller meeting rooms and a very large basement area all of which are available for hire. The remit of the centre is to promote, preserve and manage this beautiful building, and the historical archive material of Dr. Langdon Down, the “Father of Downs Syndrome”
LIGHTING APPEAL
We have just launched our Normansfield Theatre Lighting Appeal. We need to raise the funds to change our existing stage and front of stage lighting to LED fittings. It is currently difficult to source existing bulbs and costly to change and run them. Moving to LED lighting will be more environmentally friendly/cheaper to run/enhance the quality of the lighting we provide. You can donate online at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/Normansfield or call us on 0333 1212 300.
We are grateful for all the donations we receive
