Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra
Forthcoming events - Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra>

Wimbledon-based Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra enjoys a very high reputation for musical excellence, both locally and nationally. It performs regularly in some of the best concert halls in London and the South-East, giving three concerts a year, as well as undertaking a summer tour to Europe. We aim to provide an orchestral environment which is challenging, fun, friendly and supportive, in which young musicians of all backgrounds aged 8-18 can develop their skills to meet their full potential. There are two orchestras: the Main Orchestra and a Training Orchestra for younger players. We suggest a minimum of Grade 7 for prospective members of the Main and Grade 4 for the Training Orchestra. Auditions are held in September, January and April and rehearsals take place on Sunday afternoons during term time at St Paul’s Community Centre, Inner Park Road, Wimbledon, SW19 6ED.
