2 hour long adult evening course
SW13 0DQ

Basketry is highly skilled and widely believed to be amongst the oldest crafts in the world. In this evening class, join renowned willow weaver Judith Needham to learn the secrets to this ancient art form, and weave your very own willow plant supports.

Striking and elegant, these magnificent and practical supports are guaranteed to grace any garden, allotment or patch. Whether you grow your tomatoes or sweetpeas up them, these plant supports will be useful and decorative and will be sure to stand out in your garden year after year.

Learning to weave on a larger scale, allows students to be more confident with their weaving and leaves plenty of room to remedy any mistakes along the way.

These willow towers are usually between 5 and 6 feet in height when completed, so please bear that in mind when travelling to us by bus, bike or scooter! But don't let that put you off coming, they won't be heavy!
