Harold Pinter’s final full-length play is an elegiac meditation on family, grief and mortality, shot through with raucous wit.

Our patrons include Dame Penelope Wilton and Professor Sir Stanley Wells.

Geno Washington & The Yo Yos

Geno Washington is still the ultimate 60s soul man, enjoying cult status in soul, blues and Rnb, mainly due to his unsurpassable reputation as a live peformer.
A contemporary of Georgie Fame, The Small Faces and Jimi Hendrix (all of whom were his support acts back in the day), Geno is as electrifying today as ever, a force of nature and a genuine joy to behold.
In 1980, 'Oh Geno!' was a massive UK Number 1 hit for Dexys Midnight Runners.  Vocalist Kevin Roland based the song on his memories of Geno's gigs, when clubland used to join in the chants of Geno! Geno! Geno!
Geno Washington & The Yo Yos features members of the super tight Ram Jam Band, playing a blistering set of pared down street soul, RnB and house rockin' blues.
Opening by guitarist/vocalist Peter Hammerton (formerly with The Others).  £16 (£14 Members)

Jazz On The Plaza - 60th Anniversary of 'Kind Of Blue'

This month's Jazz On the Plaza concert will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Kind Of Blue. In the intimate setting at Café Yukari, the compositions of this seminal album will be the focus of this duo concert.

Released on the 16th August in 1959, Kind of Blue by Miles Davis has been regarded by many critics as the greatest jazz record and one of the best albums of all time. Its influence on music, including jazz, rock and classical genres, has also led writers to deem it one of the most influential albums ever recorded.

Limited seating so we recommend early booking.

    Spirit

Spirit, by Sue Beattie, takes the audience on a captivating journey of ordinary people’s otherworldly experiences. The puppetry moves from delicate marionette to table top and from object theatre to shadows. The visuals of the show are constructed around the voices of real people relating personal stories and contemplating life and living. Their reflections and narratives are humorous, inspiring and in some cases deeply moving.

    Running time: 1hr including interval

    Suitable for adults.
