      Classics in the Afternoon Special Event: Roman Rudnytsky

      In association with the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM), we are delighted to welcome the American international concert pianist Roman Rudnytsky for a recital followed by a Masterclass. A graduate of America's most prestigious music conservatory, The Juilliard School in New York, he began studying piano at age four, gave his first full recital at seven and is prizewinner of ten international and national piano competitions.  He has performed as soloist with many orchestras around the world, playing nearly 50 different works for piano and orchestra.

      JKL-Jazz play at the Triple Crown Pub

      JKL-Jazz will be playing at the Triple Crown pub in Richmond. They will be playing a mix of jazz, Latin and possibly some funk, blues and pop .... who knows! They will be featuring singers Teresa and Susan.

      JKL-Jazz play at the Gunnersbury Tavern in Chiswick

      JKL-Jazz will be returning to The Gunnersbury Tavern in Chiswick (downstairs in the Gallery)  to play a variety of jazz and Latin standards .... with the occasional pop, blues or funk number. Featured guest singers this month are Teresa and Susan.



      8-10pm Entrance £5



      Get there early and make a night of it with some lovely pub food.

      Thames Philharmonia

      Two orchestral masterpieces, one exquisitely classical, the other passionately romantic.  Mozart's sublime piano concerto no. 23 will showcase the prodigious talents of 14-year-old pianist Juni Kim and  by contrast Tchaikovsky's dramatic Fantasy Overture 'Romeo and Juliet'  -  the iconic musical depiction of Shakespeare's tragic lovers – will close the concert.  Programme also includes: a sparkling suite from Delibes' ballet 'Sylvia'; Flotow's operatic overture 'Martha', and Grieg's lively Symphonic Dances.
