      Long Day's Journey into Night

      Winner of the 1957 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Long Day’s Journey into Night plunges deep into the heart of the Tyrone family – James, the acclaimed actor who sold out to commercial success, his wife in recovery from morphine addiction, and their two sons.  Eugene O’Neill described  his greatest and autobiographical drama as “a play of old sorrow, written in blood and tears”.

      The first major revival of Lucy Prebble’s debut play: a devastatingly and disturbingly funny exploration of an unlikely friendship, our desire to connect, and the limits of empathy. Her work includes A Very Expensive Poison, The Effect and ENRON on stage and the BAFTA and Emmy Award-winning Succession on screen.



      Director Oscar Toeman and Designer Rebecca Brewer are runners up of the JMK Award 2019. Oscar Toeman's previous work includes Actually (Trafalgar Studios) and After October (Finborough Theatre).

      The show, with a full rhythm section, includes Bossa classics like How Insensitive; Chick Corea’s jazz fusion; and standards such as How Deep Is The Ocean. A must for Jazz & Bossa saxophone lovers.

      Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a rowdy young prodigy, arrives in Vienna determined to make a splash.  Awestruck by his genius, court composer Antonio Salieri has the power to promote his talent or destroy it. Seized by obsessive jealousy he begins a war with Mozart, with music and ultimately, with God.



      Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play and eight Academy Awards, including Best Film and Best Screenwriter.
