Us
You are not around
Now I'm slowing down
A life's history of just us two
A brother and sister me and you.
You are not around
Now I'm slowing down
To share our childhood when
We played when we were ten.
You are not around
Now I'm slowing down
To tell me stories of your time
And listen lovingly to mine.
You are not around
Now I'm slowing down
To pop in and say hello
When you and I are feeling low.
You are not around
Now I'm slowing down
For me to ask you how you are
Memories of us together now seem
so distant and so far.
