Richmond & Twickenham Photographic Society
We are one of the largest societies in the South East with an impressive programme of talks from some of the top photographers in the country covering a diverse range of topics from wildlife, landscape and street photography to specialist genres such as infra red, macro and drone photography – and more.
Members also have the opportunity to enter our bi monthly Print and Digital Competitions and Annual Cup competitions with a critique of their images from a visiting judge as well as the opportunity to display their photographs at our annual exhibition at the Landmark Centre in Teddington.
We meet every Thursday from 8 to 10 p.m. at St. Luke’s Kew Community Centre in The Avenue. In addition there are monthly specialist group meetings including Post Processing, Monochrome, Nature, Studio and Tabletop. We also hold summer and Christmas social events and occasional outings in the summer when we are closed during July and August.
We are a friendly club with an impressive history of over 100 years. We welcome members of all abilities, those just starting in photography as well as those who are more experienced. Our mutual aim is the enjoyment and improvement of our photography – and to make a few new friends along the way!
Prospective new members are warmly invited to join us for one or two meetings before making a commitment to join. Just come along and someone will be on hand to welcome you. Alternatively, if you don't want to join but do want to come along to a talk, then there will be a charge of £4.
If you do decide to join, membership is £55, joint £90 and students £27.
