The new movie starring Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Maggie Smith, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, due to be released soon, is adapted from the novel These Foolish Things, and we are delighted that its author, the delightful novelist, Deborah Moggach, will be our guest speaker, with the witty journalist and children’s book and novel writer Terence Blacker (remember The Thoroughly Disgraceful Life and Times of Willie Donaldson) in scintillating conversation, stimulated by our former President, author Lee Langley).
