TCS Virtual performance; Lacrimosa, Mozart Requiem
3 Jul 2020 - 28 Feb 2021
Online

Unfortunately due to the general situation Teddington Choral Society had to cancel and postpone its Spring and Summer concerts and suspend its weekly rehearsals. But the choir has organized itself to allow the singers to continue practicing their repertoire and to maintain a strong connection.
We have arranged a weekly project which gives the opportunity to the singers to sign up, record themselves and share their recordings so that we can create a virtual choir performance.
We have been extremely fortunate to have the support of our amazing IT specialist (Seamus, son of our Chairperson) who spent hours editing and mixing the final project.
We are also very thankful with the singers who have taken the courage to participate to these projects.
We also had a very good feedback from the singers who did not participate but enjoyed listening and watching the performances.
The Virtual Performance is a new entry in our range of activities and based on the members enthusiasm and the end results we will definitely continue experimenting it.
