10.30am Meet at the enormous statue of an embracing couple under the very obvious clock inside St. Pancras station on the upper concourse at the end of the tracks. It's a good 10 minute walk from the Victoria Line platform. Follow the signs to St Pancras International.
Moving the Channel Tunnel Terminus to St Pancras became the catalyst for major change in this region of North London. Over two decades some 67 acres of under-used railway lands behind St Pancras station and its sister terminus at King's Cross have been transformed into a complete mixed-use commercial, residential, educational and cultural-neighbourhood. Our guide Martin Olutniks will guide us through this canal-side setting which is peppered with historic structures.
