Richmond Film Society – screening of 'Paterson' (USA)
16 Jan 2018
PLEASE NOTE OUR CHANGE OF VENUE. From January 2018, we shall be screening all our films at 'The Exchange', a new community facility opposite Twickenham Station. Its address is The Exchange, 75 London Road, Twickenham, TW1 1BE.
Its amenites include a very comfortable, tiered 300 seat theatre, an onsite bar and a cafe. Our first screening at our new venue will be ‘Paterson’ on 16 January, 2018.
The second half of RFS’s season commences with this gentle drama from Jim Jarmusch. Paterson is a bus driver-cum-poet named after the New Jersey town in which he lives and works. Thinking while he drives, he writes snatches of verse on his lunch break, drawing inspiration from passengers' conversations.
Discounted memberships for the second half of our Season at The Exchange - comprising eight films and commencing with ‘Paterson’ on 16 January - are now available for £35 - i.e. for less than £4.40 per film (full-time students £20). Existing memberships are, of course, valid at the new location.
Tickets on the night for non-members are £6 (£4 full-time students) and all are very welcome. Please come along and join us at The Exchange.
