Arts Richmond will coordinate the borough’s open studios festival, Art House, for 2026.
The festival gives visitors a chance to explore our artistic community and engage with artists, designers & makers from all corners of the borough.

Sunday 24th May, 2pm - 4pm
Sasha Mayes will will show how to use fluid art to create an abstract tile. Visitors will also have the opportunity to make jewellery, a keyring or a magnet (£5 - £25 for materials). No booking required.

Join cyanotype artist Nick Gardner & award-winning photographer Jocelyn Horsfall for a cyanotype demonstration - a special session offering a rare opportunity to see the process in action.

Printmaker Sue Ribbans will be demonstrating linocut printmaking at intervals during the weekend in her home studio using her etching press.

Jewellery maker Charlotte Bezzant will be working on new pieces throughout the weekend and welcomes you to see her in action.

Live watercolour and oil painting demonstration by Marziyeh Ramezani and Mansoureh Fazli. Free of charge, no booking required.

Andrew Ferguson will demonstrate the preparation and cutting of a woodblock, and the printing of the block in the printing press. Free of charge, no booking necessary.

30th & 31st May
Rebecca Harvey will be demonstrating screen printing and producing insect prints to colour in. Free of charge, no booking necessary.

30th & 31st May
Jan Lee Johnson will provide ongoing watercolour demonstrations throughout the weekend. Jan teaches a very popular weekly watercolour class.

31st May, 3pm
Join published poets Ian Florance, Robin Thomas, Gill Learner, John Froy and Eleanor Nesbitt for readings of their poems. Free of charge, no booking required.
