Come along and sketch with local artist Nicky Browne along the River Thames.
Sketching days are an opportunity for artists of all ages and abilities to spend some time sketching outdoors and connecting with the nature around us. These tide-themed sketching days offer the chance to see the Thames at high and low tide.
Meet at the Tide Tales Cafe at 11.30 for a hot drink before we head out at 12.00 to see the -.0.28 meter artificially Low Tide at 12.55. This is the period of The Thames Draw-Off from 9 - 27 November, when the river is allowed to fall to its naturally, almost dry level at low tide. It is possible to see the remains of old piers in the river.
Free of charge.
MEET: by the cafe
