    Arts Richmond invites entries to a poetry Competition to be judged by Roger McGough CBE FRSL.

    Enter poems up to 200 words. The Theme is ‘Time’

    Prizes for entrants over 16 years of £200, £100 and £50

    A Panel appointed by Arts Richmond will select 40 poems to be judged by Roger McGough who will choose the winners. He will present the prizes at the Book Picnic on 12th May. The final 40 poems will be printed in an anthology to mark the event.

    For rules and regulations 

    • The competition is for original unpublished poems.
    • Type poems clearly on single sides of A4
    • A poem title must be written at the top of each entry
    • Your name must not appear on the manuscript.
    • Include an entry form, which may be downloaded from the Arts Richmond website, with each entry/s www.artsrichmond.org.uk
    • Send entries as attachments by email to info@artsrichmond.org.uk please enter Roger McGough Poetry comp in title.
    • All entries sent in by post must be attached to the completed entry form
    • Ensure that you keep a copy of your work as poems cannot be returned.
    • Entry fee is £4.00 per poem or three poems for £10
    • Deadline is Friday 29th March at 12.30pm
    • The copyright of each poem remains with the author. However, by entering the competition, authors of the winning poems grant the organizers of the Arts Richmond Poetry Competition the right to publish and/or use them in promotional displays.
    • The judges’ decisions are final.
