Help Needed!

Would you like to help improve the library service? We want to persuade library users to sign up as members of artsrichmond and as Friends of the Richmond Libraries, which operates under our auspices. The Friends work closely with library staff to promote an ever-better library service: the libraries are anxious to have close contact with users via the Friends so that they are kept informed of user opinions. Are you a regular library user? If so, would you help us, and our affiliated societies, by acting as an artsrichmond/branch library liaison-person? We are looking for members to establish a link with each of the 13 branch libraries in the borough to deliver artsrichmond's Guide to the Arts, newsletters, etc, to each branch, and to cooperate with branch library staff to help library users know of arts activities in the borough.

Children’s events

All libraries hold a storytime for the under-5s once a week; see the Storytime page on the LBRuT/Library website for details. Most also hold monthly bounce and rhyme sessions for pre-school children, called Tiny Teddies. These sessions are great fun and include songs, rhyme and stories. All these activities are free of charge.
